On November 22, 2023, TOYO SOLAR 2023 Appreciation Party with the theme of "Sails to success by working together for a shared future" was successfully held in Phu Tho Province, Vietnam. Mr. RYU JUNSEI – CEO of ABALANCE Group, Mr. WATANABE SHIGE - Minister Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. NGUYEN THANH HAI - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province, Vietnam, Mr. TRUNG KIEN - President of BIDV Bac Giang Branch and more than 200 guests including customers, VSUN employees and Company employees gathering at TOYO SOLAR to celebrate the successful completion and commissioning of Phase I of the TOYO SOLAR TOPCon cell project.
At noon that day, the chairman and management representatives of ABALANCE Group, the Vietnamese government delegation, the Vietnamese Bank delegation, and long-term cooperation customer representatives successively entered the TOYO SOLAR campus to visit. CHENGHUA WU - TOYO SOLAR Deputy Technical Manager accompanied the visit and gave a comprehensive introduction to the company's construction situation, cell production process flow and future development strategic planning.
The total investment in the first phase of the TOYO SOLAR TOPCon project is US$200 million. The existing production capacity is 4GW/year, and the designed production capacity in the second phase is 4GW. Currently, the overall expected goal has been achieved, and the development momentum is steady. The workshop is equipped with a modern automatic production line, a dust-free and clean production environment, an orderly production process, and on-site scientific and rigorous management and quality control, which left a deep impression on the visiting guests.
In the afternoon, representatives from all parties entered the main venue of the hotel, have signature and took photos in front of the signature wall in a warm atmosphere.
The TOYO SOLAR 2023 Appreciation Party was opened by Mr. RYU JUNSEI - CEO of ABALANCE Group. Mr. RYU JUNSEI said that the cell production base is an important fulcrum of VSUN’s global strategic layout and is also a key to consolidating the vertical industry chain which is a crucial part. With the successful start of production of the TOYO SOLAR TOPCon cell phase I project, the Group will be closer to major market demands and actively expand the global market.
Mr. WATANABE SHIGE - Minister Extraordinaryand Plenipotentiary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, expressed his warm congratulations on the successful completion and commissioning of the TOYO SOLAR TOPCon Phase I 4GW solar cell project in his speech. Mr. WATANABE SHIGE said that the success of this stage will promote the process of the second stage and subsequent stages. It is a new achievement of the company's industrial structure adjustment, transformation and upgrading. He looks forward to TOYO SOLAR making a significant contribution to promoting the world's low-carbon sustainable development in the future.
Mr. NGUYEN THANH HAI - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province, Vietnam, highly affirmed TOYO SOLAR's development and contribution in Vietnam in his speech, and said that the provincial government will continue to support TOYO SOLAR's construction work, optimize the development platform, and achieve mutual benefit. Work together for a win-win development.
Mr. TRUNG KIÊN - President of Bac Giang Branch of Vietnam Investment and Development Bank, was also invited to the stage to deliver a speech. In his speech, he expressed his recognition and affirmation for the successful completion of the TOYO SOLAR Phase I project.
Then, Mr. HUAYANG LI - Executive Deputy General Manager of TOYO SOLAR, delivered a speech and thanked all parties. Mr. HUAYANG LI said that the completion and commissioning of the TOYO SOLAR TOPCon battery phase I project cannot be separated from the recognition and trust of investors and partners; it cannot be separated from the support of the local government and the optimization of the business environment, and it is also inseparable from the project, the builders and TOYO employees who have been together since its inception. TOYO SOLAR will be deeply involved in the industry, continue to move forward on the journey of chasing light, use innovation to drive high-quality products to serve the market, continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with all walks of life, share development opportunities, and create a better future.
